Hosting Fees
Hosting fees paid annually receive a discount. All fees are paid in advance.

Domain Name Redirects
Domain Name Redirects are additional domain names that automatically forward the user to the website of the primary domain name. Email accounts for these additional domain names require Email Forwarding.

Email Forwarding
Allows for email addresses on domain names that have been redirected. For example, if you have both the .com and .net version of your domain name, you could have the .net email accounts automatically forward to your .com accounts.

Number of Email Accounts
This is the number of email accounts that are included for the base fees.

Storage
This is the amount of storage space in megabytes that you have with your account.

Additional Storage
Storage usage over the included amount is billed monthly, if necessary. Typically, we will contact you to let you know that you have exceeded your limit. You may choose to delete some files, pay extra for the month, or pay extra for every month from that point on.

Bandwidth
Bandwidth is the amount of traffic you use for your website and email. This is measured in gigabytes.

Additional Bandwidth
Bandwidth usage over the included amount is billed monthly, if necessary. Typically, we will contact you to let you know about the additional bandwidth usage. If this additional usage is out of the ordinary, you will be billed for the additional usage. If this usage has become the norm, we can adjust your monthly/quarterly/annual fees based on the estimated usage.

Shared Certificate
E-commerce websites need a Secure Certificate (SSL - Secure Socket Layers). This certificate encrypts the data as it is transferred between your customers' computers and the server. A Shared Certificate means that the protected pages will have a Mint E-commerce domain name (if your customers don't look at the url, they won't notice any other difference).

Use of Your Own Secure Certificate
E-commerce websites need a Secure Certificate (SSL - Secure Socket Layers). This certificate encrypts the data as it is transferred between your customers' computers and the server. Using your own certificate means that the domain name will not change for yours to Mint E-commerce. You will need to purchase a certificate from a third party. We will assist you with this process. Using your own Secure Certificate requires that you have a dedicated IP address.

Dedicated IP Address
Most of our websites are hosted on a shared server, meaning that your site will reside on a server with other websites. Most of these sites also share an IP address. You may choose to have a Dedicated IP Address, while taking advantage of the lost cost of the shared server.

Your Own CGI folder
All accounts have their own cgi folder located within their directory. This means that you may write and manage your own custom scripts without worrying about saving them in a public directory.

Perl
Perl is the scripting language of choice for cgi scripts.

PHP
PHP is a programming language that is typically used for e-commerce and dynamic websites.

MySQL
MySQL is a full-blown SQL database, which is often used with e-commerce and dynamic websites.
